Multiple passengers and crew were hurt when a Delta Airlines flight from Los Angeles to Sydney experienced significant turbulence this past Friday.
The flight, numbered 41 "encountered brief turbulence" as it landed at the Sydney airport, a company official told. Four flight attendants required medical attention.
Emergency medical services said they treated a total of five people, and took a trio to the hospital with relatively minor issues that such as back pain and head pain. The patients' ages spanned from their 30s to 70s.
