In a unexpected partnership that defies usual predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Mission Disclosed

According to the formal announcement, "A strange meeting pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where hints of prohibited rituals and fearsome transformations reverberate through the shadows." The plot features a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a secret sect.

The questline concentrates on "strange tests and a fearsome adversary" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Places and Changes

The teaser highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview concludes with a powerful moment showing a character, likely the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Rewards and Additional Content

Players who successfully complete the mission will acquire an unique katana in addition to several artifacts secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
