I'll overwhelm 'credible fighter' Paul - Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really proceeding.
